Our solutions

Cleaner air, in layers.

There’s no single gadget that fixes indoor air. Clean air comes from stacking a few things that each do one job well — capture the particles, control the moisture, freshen what’s left. Here’s what we install, and what each one is actually for.

Better filtration

The one-inch filter from the hardware store catches almost nothing. A proper media or high-MERV filter traps far more of the dust, pollen, and dander circulating through the system — the single biggest step for most homes.

Improve My Air

Whole-home dehumidification

This is the Florida one. Your AC removes some moisture, but on humid days it can’t keep up — and damp air is what makes a house feel sticky and closets smell musty. A dedicated dehumidifier holds the level steady.

Improve My Air

UV & air purification

Mounted at the coil, UV light helps keep mold and biofilm from building up on the wet parts of the system — a common source of that musty smell. Add-on purifiers go after finer particles and odors the filter misses.

Improve My Air

Duct cleaning

Years of dust settles inside the ductwork and gets re-circulated every cycle. Clearing it out — especially after a renovation or a musty-smell complaint — means the air isn’t dragging yesterday’s debris back into the room.

Improve My Air

Fresh-air ventilation

A tightly built home can trap stale air, cooking odors, and off-gassing from new furniture. Controlled fresh-air ventilation trades a measured amount of that stale air for outside air — without throwing your cooling bill away.

Improve My Air

Smart humidity control

A humidity-aware thermostat lets the system target moisture, not just temperature — so the house feels comfortable at a slightly higher setting. Comfort and a lower bill from the same box.

Improve My Air

You almost never need all six. The free in-home air check measures your humidity and airflow and recommends the smallest mix that solves what you’re actually noticing — comfort and cleanliness, not a medical treatment.

How it works

We measure first,
then recommend.

01
A free in-home air check

We read your humidity, look at the filter and ductwork, and listen to what’s actually bothering you — dust, odor, a stuffy room. No guessing, no pressure.

02
The smallest mix that solves it

You get a plain recommendation for only what your home needs — often one or two additions, not a cart full of gadgets. The price comes before anything is installed.

03
Installed and verified

We fit it cleanly into your existing system, confirm it’s working, and leave you with a home that feels fresher — backed in writing.

Freshening homes across Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Coral Springs, and Fort Lauderdale — and the rest of our Broward & South Palm Beach area.

The Florida problem

Cool isn’t the same as clean.

Your air conditioner is built to move heat, and it’s good at it. But down here the real trouble is moisture, dust, and stale air — and a cooling system alone was never designed to handle all three. That gap is what makes a cold house still feel sticky, smell musty, or coat the shelves in dust.

  • Humidity high enough to feel sticky — and to grow mold in closets
  • Fine dust and dander a basic one-inch filter waves right through
  • A musty smell rising off a damp coil or dusty ductwork
  • Stale, trapped air in a tightly sealed modern home

These are comfort and cleanliness improvements — we don’t make health claims. The free air check tells you honestly which, if any, your home actually needs.

Your AC on its own
  • Removes some heat and some moisture
  • Filters only the largest particles
  • Can’t keep up with humidity on wet days
  • Recirculates whatever’s in the ducts
vs
A complete air setup
  • Holds humidity at a steady, comfortable level
  • Traps fine dust, pollen, and dander
  • Goes after musty odor at the source
  • Trades stale air for fresh, on your terms

Reviews

Homes that finally feel fresh.

“The dust finally let up.”

We dusted twice a week and it never helped. The media filter they put in made an obvious difference within days — the shelves stay clean now.

“No more sticky feeling.”

The house was cold but always felt clammy. They added a whole-home dehumidifier and now it’s comfortable at a warmer setting — and the power bill went down.

“The musty smell is gone.”

Every time the AC kicked on you’d get a whiff of mildew. A UV light at the coil and a duct cleaning fixed it. The house smells neutral again.

“They didn’t oversell.”

I expected a huge pitch. They measured, said I really only needed a better filter and a UV light, and skipped the rest. Honest people are hard to find.

“Perfect after the remodel.”

Post-renovation the whole house smelled like sawdust and paint for weeks. They cleaned the ducts and added ventilation — cleared it right up.

“Pet dander under control.”

Two dogs and it showed — on the vents, in the air, everywhere. The upgraded filtration and a duct cleaning made a real, noticeable difference.

Questions

Air-quality questions, answered plainly.

Ask United
Not sure what your air needs? Ask the assistant.

Tell it what you’re noticing — dust, a musty smell, humidity — and it’ll suggest where to start, then set up your free in-home air check.

Why is my house so dusty even with the AC running?

Usually the filter. A one-inch panel filter lets most fine dust pass straight through and back into the room, and older ductwork holds years of it. A better media filter — sometimes with a duct cleaning — is what actually reduces the dust you keep wiping up.

My house is cold but still feels sticky. What’s wrong?

That’s humidity, and it’s the classic South Florida complaint. Your AC removes some moisture, but on wet days it can’t keep up. A whole-home dehumidifier holds the level steady, so the house feels comfortable — often at a warmer, cheaper thermostat setting.

What causes that musty smell when the AC turns on?

Almost always moisture and buildup on the wet parts of the system — the coil and drain — or dust in the ducts. A UV light at the coil helps keep that growth down, and a duct cleaning clears what’s already there. We find the source before recommending either.

Do air-quality products cure allergies or health issues?

No, and we won’t claim they do. What we install can reduce airborne dust, dander, humidity, and odors, which many people simply find more comfortable to live with. For any medical concern, that’s a conversation for your doctor — our job is cleaner, fresher air.

Do I really need my air ducts cleaned?

Not every home does. It earns its keep when there’s visible buildup, after a renovation, following water or pest issues, or with a persistent musty smell. If your ducts are clean, we’ll tell you and save you the money — we don’t sell cleanings a home doesn’t need.

What filter should I be using?

A higher-rated media filter catches far more than the cheap panel type, but the very densest filters can choke airflow if the system isn’t set up for them. The right answer balances cleaner air against your equipment — we’ll match one that fits your system without straining it.

Is a whole-home purifier better than a portable one?

They do different jobs. A portable unit cleans one room; a whole-home solution treats the air everywhere the system reaches, every time it runs. For a persistent, house-wide issue, built-in is the more complete fix — and it’s out of sight.

How do I keep the air clean once it’s set up?

Change or rinse the filter on schedule and keep up with a yearly system check — a dirty coil or damp drain undoes a lot of good air work. Our maintenance plan keeps the whole system, filtration and all, running the way it should.
